You’ll start by chatting with one of our providers about your goals, concerns, and what you’d love to see in the mirror. Treatment
Once you’re ready, your provider cleanses the treatment area and may apply a topical numbing cream for extra comfort. Using a very fine needle, DYSPORT is carefully injected into specific facial muscles based on your customized plan. The process is quick, usually taking 10 to 15 minutes. You might feel tiny pinches, but most patients find it very tolerable.
Recovery
You may notice mild redness, swelling, or small bumps at the injection sites right after, which will fade within 30 minutes to a few hours. Occasional bruising can occur and may last a few days. There’s no true downtime, so you can return to most normal activities right away. However, we’ll ask you to avoid strenuous exercise, rubbing the area, or lying flat for about four hours.
